XP/NAV woes (hijackthis log included)

I sarted having some trouble with NAV2003 on XP/SP2 some days ago when LiveUpdate got corrupted. I tried re-installing NAV2003 but I didn't succeed (tried the registry protection tricks found on the M$ database, but to no avail). A repair of XP (took me back to SP1) didn't help either, and today I cannot even re-install SP2 (refused access).
Adaware and Spybot didn't reveal anything, neither did the MS tool (installed yesterday).

Before going to the extremity of re-formatting and making a clean install, I submit the hijackthis! log in case someone could help. Thanks in advance.

I'm no expert, but I don't see anything obviously wrong in that log.

I think the 2.exe lines indicate a trojan virus.

Try uninstalling NAV first, you may need to do it manually, there is a process on the Symantec site BUT it does involve tweaking the registry.Try here
For service pack 2 try this

Again, i'm no expert, but googling suggests they're related to a EPSON Stylus C44 Series printer.

Agree - these look harmless to me.

Thanks for all the answers.
I'm currently going through all the steps suggested on the geekstogo site before posting the hijackthis! log on their forum. Nothing really serious found for the time being, maybe it's only some registry problems.
I'll keep you posted

Finally made up my mind this week-end and just backed up all user data and started a clean re-install (after repartitionning the HD so that I do not need to move the user data if I need to reinstall). XPSP2 and NAV running like a charm.
