Question MP3/FM player with speakers?

I'm after an MP3 player with FM radio and preferably integrated speakers, ideally with external power option i.e. something I can put on the bedside table and listen to while wandering around the room. Found quite a few MP3/FMs but all with earphones/docking stations. Anyone know of anything that fits the bill?

Sony DID make a portable Radio/CD player with ATRAC and MP3 playback - the 25-YN7L. They may not be in production still but it would be worth checking. I bought one for my partner and it is excellent.

That sounds like just the very job, couldn't turn up anything using Google though - is it called anything else?

Depends what you are after and want to spend. Here, for example is a DAB radio that will play back MP3 from digital media, but it is a bit pricey and you may not need the DAB.

Then there is this Yamada, but it has no mains.

ORAC, thanks, I have bagged a BT Aviator (had to really with that name). Looks ideal. The evenings in the Sumburgh Hotel will just fly by with an eclectic mix of Radio 4 and Black Sabbath
