PS1 in Win XP

Didn't get a response at http://744.hoppie.nl/forum.cgi, so I don't think this will get a response here, but here goes anyway.....

I have the Logitech Attack 3 USB and am running PS1 in Windows XP, I am having problems with continous engine sound, the sound was fine until I tried to get the joystick to work, after putting in the changes in joy13.map, there seems to be a problem with continous engine sound, at the moment these are my joy13.map settings:
[inputs]
analog.1 = A.analog.X
analog.2 = A.analog.Y
analog.3 = B.analog.Z
analog.4 = A.analog.Z
digital.1 = A.digital.B4, A.digital.B6, A.digital.B7, A.digital.B9, A.digital.B10, A.digital.P1, A.digital.P2
digital.2 = A.digital.B3, A.digital.B5, A.digital.B7, A.digital.B8, A.digital.B9, A.digital.P1, A.digital.P3
digital.3 = A.digital.B2, A.digital.B7, A.digital.B8, A.digital.B10, A.digital.P1, A.digital.P2, A.digital.P3, A.digital.P4
digital.4 = A.digital.B1, A.digital.B5, A.digital.B6, A.digital.P1, A.digital.P2, A.digital.P3, A.digital.P4

Any ideas what's happening ?

thanks,
