I don't know if this is the right forum for this, but couldn't find another that seemed to be more appropriate. Anyway, for the last week or so, I've noticed that my avatar is not appearing under my username. Just the blank area with the dreaded (if only partial) "x". 
Have an idea that I had to pay for the privilege of that avatar, some years ago. Is the current AWOL situation a hint that I must pay some more "rent" or something?

The website that it is hosted at - http://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/ - appears to no longer exist.

Thanks for that Evo. It never occurred to me to check on StopStart's site as I thought it would last forever. I live and learn.
My next problem is that when I used the "Change Avatar" button in my CP, I received the message :
Where do I go from here? Have I simply lost the money that I paid originally? 
I don't think that I'd been made aware that I'd ever be likely to lose the option for an avatar.
