Bebo, anyone herd of it? is it safe? Cheers LR

Coppied from sign in page.

What is Bebo?

Bebo is an online address book. Each person only keeps his/her own contact details updated and then changes appear in his/her friends' address books. You always have complete and up-to-date contact details for all of your friends.

I've ignored all the Bebo invites that I've had because you can't verify your details without registering yourself.

At least Plaxo gives you the option of confirming your details without becoming a customer yourself.

Indeed. In this instance, it's my daughter in the UK, so I'm concerned that perhaps she is being a little naive.

Advice about any dangers would be appreciated.

I'll look at Plaxo, thanks. LR
