Task Bar has moved!

My Task Bar which usually sits on the bottom of the screen has decided to park itself vertically on the right hand side - try a reboot etc to no avail.

Any ideas?

Now you tell me. In my case the task bar was on the left vertical plane, clever dude in IT took control and did a distant re configure.

In (at least) Windows XP there's a feature that allows you to lock the taskbar. Right click on an empty part of the taskbar, and then left click on "Lock the Taskbar". It stops it getting up and going for a walk all over the screen, amongst other things: I've had this happen to me when for some reason one of the keys or buttons has gone "sticky" and normal mousing has ended up dragging the taskbar somewhere I didn't want.
