Windows 2000 Temp Internet files
Some files have settled in a folder \administrator\local settings\temp\temporary Internet Files\content.IE5 on 19/3/05 (4 folders in all) but my apparent Internet folders for 26/3/05 are in \administrator\local settings\temporary Internet Files\content.IE5. There are some files in the first folders that I cannot delete, with long long file names, and they will not disclose their properties. I've been into safe and DOSs and no luck.
1) Why does IE muck around with where it creates temp internet stuff and
2) How can I get rid of these files?
Please?

In IE, Tools -> Internet Options -> General tab -> Temporary Internet Files -> Settings allows you to change the location of the folder used to store temp files.
If you want to get shot of the others, then try this: note the existing folder name, change to something else for a moment, stop IE, delete the folders, then change the folder name back
