Camera Software Problem
Have just upgraded to WinXP. My camera software (Fujifilm SX Version 3.2b), previously functioned satisfactorily using Win98 but it will not now download images from the camera even though it is billed as being WinXP compatible.
I’d be grateful for any ideas for remedial action.
Thanks in advance.

Try having a look at the Fujifilm site . The link should take you to the software support page. Choose your camera and see if they have an XP version of your software. If they don't have an obvious one, there are contact detail as well.
Hope that helps

I just happened to purchase a Fuji Finepix S5500 yesterday. Software is version AX 4.2g for Windows and Macintosh.
From the operating manual,
3. After restarting, the USB Video Class driver would be installed.
This driver is only installed on Windows XP SP1.
Hope this helps.

Thanks to you both,
Fuji support provided a fix of sorts. Opening up the Fuji DSC 100 folder with the camera connected does the trick . Apparently the fault lies with XP. A download to sort the USB driver for my version of the software will be available from Microsoft in the fullness of time.
