Windows Firewall Error
Hello all,
I am suddenly having a problem with my windows firewall. When I boot up it wont activate, if I try to switch it on myself in the control panel it says:
Windows Firewall settings cannot be displayed because the associated service is not running. Do you want to start the windows firewall/Internet connections sharing (ICS) service?
Upon clicking yes it says:
Windows canot start the firewall/ICS service.
Any suggestions??

Is there a reason you need to use the windows one? I'd scrap it and go for one that a) works and b) doesn't cause the machine other problems.
With regard to your specific problem I have no input, sorry! i've never used it enough to see such an error.
Zone alarm is quite good.
