SysInternals Process Explorer v9.02 will give you much more comprehensive info. than Task Manager and faster too.

You may also find Memstat XP useful for a moment-to-moment picture of the free memory situation, and the ability to free off physical memory automatically or on request. Download from here - the product's home page is apparently "under reconstruction".

this program is the absolute best, and it's free. It downloads very quick, and analyzes your entire configuration in about 1 minute! Print and save your results, you'll end up referring to it quite often in the future. It runs right in your web browser, so all information is secure.
