AVG Bouncing Emails
I keep getting emails returned upon sending. The return comes as follows:
This is the AVG E-mail Scanner program.
I'm sorry to have to inform you that the message returned
below could not be delivered to one or more destinations.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
email address: relaying mail to (domain) is not allowed
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Your e-mail message is being returned to you in the next part of this
message. Try to send the message again.
Should you need assistance, please contact your administrator or your
internet service provider.
This has happened a few times - any idea what I am doing wrong?
Regards,
Maz

A recent problem (January 2005) with a ZoneAlarm update (and maybe an XP update depending upon which forums you choose to believe) can manifest itself exactly like that.
Solution that worked on my sister's laptop was to:
- download the latest ZoneAlarm setup kit from ZoneLabs
- disconnect from the internet
- uninstall existing ZoneAlarm and reboot
- reinstall new ZoneAlarm and reboot
- reconnect to the internet
Would recommend that you try the same if your setup is XP / ZoneAlarm / AVG.

Thanks Rotor
At the moment I am not using ZoneAlarm (however I have been contemplating a switch to it from Sygate PF). So you think maybe it could be a firewall problem?
When it happens again I will disable it and see the outcome.
