(Forced!) to watch Fox news this am and they are warning of 4 - yes 4 - NEW XP patches to patch XP patches to patch...............

Installed a couple of new ones only 2 days ago! 1 was a security patch, the other a malware removal tool..

Its an effing nuisance. I have just loaded the latest patches. Still not as secure as Linux. I hope that none of you still have administrator rights for your everyday work! Changed your password recently? Course you have.

Silly question time, how do I know what version of xp I am running, how do I know if service pack 2 is on here?

Hi BRL,

Right click the My Computer icon on the desktop, click on Properties and on the General tab, it will (should..) tell you.
