Norton pop up
Every time I disable norton in the task bar, 20/40 secs later, a window pops
up:
"Security Alert
your computer is at risk in the following areas:
-virus protection turned off"
if closed, this window pops up again.
This happened before, but cleared after I re-installed Norton.
on the Norton help and support site, i found this, the problem seems to be I have had Nav. disabled for 24 hrs.
Do I have to re-install, or is there a way to reset this?
Thanks,
G.

Cowbell,
Does the alert include a shield with a red crossin the upper left? If so then it is probably the XP SP 2 security alert letting you know you have turned off your anti virus...If you don't want Windows to monitor this, then change the settings in the control panel => Security Center.
You can deselect the alert from there
