A simple IE Q purely out of curiosity....
For no other reason than idle curiosity can anyone kindly explain to me why in IE6 when opening a new window and typing the beginning of a URL the auto complete box does not always contain a previously typed URL even when cookies etc have not been cleared, yet open another window and it will.
It seems odd to me as I would of assumed the cookies are pooled in a common place meaning any and all IE windows would 'look' at them consistently. This behaviour seems random, sometimes it happens sometimes not.
As I say just curious so very simple answer will suffice.
Cheers.
Or is the obvious answer simply "Micro$oft" ?
