Start up and Desktop management programs
Two experiences this week have led me on a search for a couple of utility programs. If anybody has recommendations I would be grateful.
a) I have my desktop Icons arranged in four groups. Internet, Applications, Games and Utilities. Anal I know but it helps me stay organised. After updating my vid drivers everything has gone back to a jumbled mess. Anybody know any progs to manage/load/save etc?
also,
b) I have lots of programs and services enabled/disabled for startup and found the message displayed everytime I changed anything in msconfig to be only mildly annoying. However, came home from a trip this month and the wife has managed to enable everything again.
Took me an hour to go through the list and find out what each process was and tick/untick. Again any recommendations for managing startup?
All sugestions considered but the cheaper (free?) the better.
