Upgrading laptop graphics
Hi
Does anyone know if it's possible to upgrade a laptop graphics chip by plugging a graphics card into a PCi or USB port?
The chip is hardwired to the motherboard so I am looking for another way of improving the graphics.
Thanks

jafo33,
The best way to improve the graphics on a Notebook, is to buy a new Notebook with either a Radeon 9600 or Radeon 9700 in it.
Some of the Notebook VGA Cards are removable, but by the time you buy the new one to replace the old one, barring no complications when installed, it will cost more then just getting rid of the old Notebook and buying a new one.
Take Care,
Richard
P.S. Think of a Notebook as the ultimate Dead End Computer.
