Notepad

I'm trying to install a new panel for a 757 in MS FS2k2.
I need to use Notepad to change from the original to the 757 spec but when I type in the letter " l " it prints as an inverted Capital L. Is this normal for notepad? if not how can I change it?

It's just the default font. Which you can change, at the end of the day the letter is an l or l or l no matter what font is used.
