Help Wanted!!
I'm running Windows XP Professional Service pack 1 - when I got back off my last trip and switched on the PC, it comes up with a message on the desktop which states -
"CRTCClient:msmsgs.exe.bad image
The application on DLLCWINDOWS\system32\msdmo.dll is not a valid windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette."
I don't have an installation diskette or CD as all was pre-loaded.
I have no idea what this all means or why it 's occured.
The other thing is that I can't now play any of my downloaded mp3 music via windows media player as it doesn't recognise the format any more.
Any suggestions anyone as to how I can fix- please!!!

Ipaq,
"msdmo.dll" is a key file and WMP9 does not install it. It needs the one already installed on your system, or else WMP will not play...anything.
I uploaded the DLL to my webserver for you. Just click here to download it:
msdmo.dll
Put it in the directory:
C:\windows\system32
Take Care,
Richard
