I am doing an Excel spreadsheet and need to take a screen shot to send to someone.

Thanks in advance,

Get the Excel spreadsheet as you want it.

Press 'Fn' and F11

Open MS Photo Editor

Click 'Edit' then 'Paste as new image'

Once you've done that, click 'save as' and give it a name. It will then be saved as a .jpg picture to wherever you want it. Or you can save it in another format if you wish.

Then when you're sending the e-mail, either insert it as a picture into the text (if you're using rich text) or just attach it using the 'paperclip' symbol.

There are probably better ways, but it works for me OK!

I don't think I have MS photo editor. Only Paint.

Also could try:

Whilst having the Excel programme up, size the spreadsheet to what you want to see, then press Alt + "Print Screen" simultaneously, then paste into your picture editor (Paint) and then File, Save As - save as a jpeg or bmp or whatever.
