Quick Launch toolbar dissapearing
Hiya Folks
Just a question - does anyone know how to force the quicklaunch toolbar in WinXP to stay visible? It used to be there no worries at all, then I ran a few different anti-spyware programs and virus scanners, and now everytime I turn the pc on the quicklaunch bar is gone and I have to go into the TaskBar Properties and select it again. Thinking maybe the spyware killers may have edited part of the startup config somewhere?
Also everytime I turn it on now, the Internet Explorer homepage is set to Microsoft (even after I set it to Blank every time), and My Computer opens automatically as well!!!
None of this appears in the startup folder, so not sure where I can change it?
Any help muchly appreciated! Thanks folks.

sinala1,
It sounds like something has damaged your OS.
Download Hijack This! and post the log file here. Do NOT make any repairs. (Hijack This! pulls up everything, including programs that are supposed to be in your computer.)
Take Care,
Richard
