I have Windows XP with Office professional. Every now and then I get e-mails with pictures in the text but some of them come up in a frame with a little square and a red X in the top left corner. By right clicking and selecting view picture, nothing happens. I can not open the picture as I used to be able to with Windows 98. Any suggestions or help?

HotDog,
Which Email Client are you using? Without any information what so ever, all I can do is guess.
If you are using OLE, there is a setting in OLE that stops OLE from downloading any attachment that could possibly contain a Virus.

Richard

HotDog,
I am with Bigpond too, but cable, and running XP.
I do not have that problem, however since downloading SP2, all my emails arrive like that, and I must select to view images, they say it is a security thing.
It is not just that you have is it?

HotDog,
You still have not answered my question. When you send and receive Email, what program are you using to do so?
(Examples: OL, OLE, Netscape, Mozilla, Incredimail, Eudora, etc.)
Take Care,
Richard
