I have agreed to let a young friend use my computer to register for PPRuNe membership and a PPRuNe e-mail account. (He does not have his own internet access or any e-mail address.)

We tried registering him for the e-mail first but the page came up with "text does not match text in box" (actually it did) then said there was a problem with the first name. This actually happens repeatedly even though we have tried many variations of his name and typed the randomly-generated text in accurately. In short, we cannot seem to get him registered for PPrune e-mail.

Could this be because he is using my computer? I find that unlikely as I have two PPRuNe e-mail addresses myself which were done without any problem.

Any ideas??
