Windows Phone Dialer
Greetings,
I'm trying to us my laptop to make phone calls. Basically I plug the fone line into the modem, then headset in the speakers/mic plugs and want to use that to place a local call. I looked up windows phone dialer (WinXP) and it works, BUT I can't seem to be able to talk? I can hear the other end (shouting hellooo in frustration ) but they can't hear me. Is the phone dialer just a dialer to your normal phone machine?
Thanks for the help

Smurfjet,
Is your modem a DATA/FAX Modem or a DATA/FAX/VOICE Modem?
You will hear anyone though the speaker in the Modem no matter what type of modem it is, but unless the Modem has Voice Capabilities, you will not be able to talk back to them.
Take Care,
Richard
