Question Wireless Question

Hiya folks!

Quick question about wireless networking and interference. I was *told* that two-way radio transmitters (ie taxis) can disrupt the system.

What is your experience when using 2.4Ghz equipment?

I've got a cordless Logitech joystick operating at 2.4ghz - the only problem I noticed once is that the gear of the plane I was trying to land at LHR in zero viz was lowered automatically when my mobile rang. Not sure if the mobile actually caused the subsequent and inevitable crash [but I didn't answer it very politely]. Not even sure if mobile phones operate on or near that frequency - or maybe, as you say, it was a third-party transmission.

I am operating a wireless net with a total of 6 individual units connected to the router (including IP phone - wired of course) and have not had one problem so far, even my wireless CCTV does not interfere (is also on 2.4 GHz.....)
