PPRuNe Advertisements

I often catch a glimpse of an interesting banner advert just as I flick onto the next forum, but pressing the back button doesn't reveal the same advert. Can't find a list of advertisers/adverts to peruse at leisure - is there one?

loftustb,

As a PPRuNe Advertiser, I can look at my own ad, but I cannot see anyone else's ads. The only way I know of finding an ad in a forum is to keep hitting the refresh button in your browser. It should rotate though.

Take Care,

Richard

loftustb, what browser are you using? In those that I've tried clicking back shows the same advert, because the browser doesn't rerequest the page, it just shows it from its cache.

drauk,

That will depend on which settings you have for your Temporary Internet File Settings.
  • Every Visit to the Page
  • Every Time you Start Internet Explorer
  • Automatically
  • Never

Richard, good point. I don't use Internet Explorer (I use OS X mostly) so I overlooked this. Anyway, your information in combination with mine should answer loftustb's question, if indeed that really was the question.
