Chat icons missing.

Had an intermittent problem over the past few months with icons (and smilies) missing in PPRuNe chat. It's now happening all the time with only a small number of icons showing at any one time. I've looked at the Digichat website for suggestions but come up with nothing.

Running XP SP1 home, IE6, system is bang up to date with Windows Update.

Suspect some form of VM issue - but unsure how to repair the Java package.

I've also got Opera with Suns JRE installed but haven't tried chat in this.

Any suggestions? A minor issue but a tad annoying.

Please elaborate on "missing":

Are the icon graphics missing with a box with a "X" in it, in the place of the icon?

Or is it something like the whole section where the icons go is missing?

P.S. If it is the first one, try right clicking on the icon and select Show Picture to see if it shows the Icon.

Thanks, but I think I might have cured the problem. The icons (next to peoples nicknames) were on most occasions just not there, just an empty space - however tonight I deleted all my temp internet files, and all cookies I did'nt need. Now all seems back to normal. Thanks anyway.
