Blocking e-mails query
Hello,
I am aware that you can block incoming e-mails from a particular sender and that it will divert the message straight to your 'waste bin'.
Does the sender receive a message to the effect that thier e-mails are blocked or are they none the wiser?

They will be none the wiser.
With most email clients you still actually receive the message as normal. All that happens is that the message is then automatically deleted or moved for you. So there is no way for them to know what happens to their message.

None the wiser - unless you also set up an autoresponse!
With SMTP, the sender can request a delivery and / or read receipt, but the delivery receipt only tells them that the destination mail server received the message, not necessarily the recipient, while there is nothing to tell the sender that a message has been deleted without being read, even if a read receipt has been requested.

TamedBill,
If you want to bounce the Email back to the person, you should use a program like:
Firstust's Mailwasher Pro
Take Care,
Richard
