Experiences of broken Lap Top
This is a cautionery tale. I recently bought a second hand Lap Top and decided to take it with me on my SYD AKL WLG AKL LAX AKL SYD trip. I didn't use the LT the whole time I was away.
When i get home i got to use, the screen was smashed in several places and i have no one to blame but myself! Why? Because i placed it in my luggage with out the carrier case. When I returned to SYD I went to my local PC shop to buy another one. The owner was telling me he has heard my story so many times before!!!
To have the LP repaired would gave cost me $800 si i ended up buying another second hand LT>
Anyone had a similar tale to tell?????

MrSydney,
If you are going to travel with a Notebook, you need to have a case which is specially made for Notebooks and always take it as Carry-On.
When you put it in as Checked Baggage, you stand the chance that it could be broken or stolen.
Take Care,
Richard
