PPRuNe registration dates
I'm going to be shot down in flames because I haven't researched the forums, but my question is, why are the dates of registration in PPRuNe displayed inaccurate? My one says 2001 but I registered eons before that...

Down to various things including outright fakery in the case of Danny and myself. A couple of years ago we found we'd never bothered to register
In most cases a date you know is wrong or is concurrent with JANET rather than what we now know as the internet indicates a registration minced during 2 or 3 server crashes we have suffered in the past.
