what program would you recomend to get your film off your camcorder then edit it on the pc and finally put it onto a dvd ??

Depends on your OS - if you have XP download version 2 of the movie maker from Microsoft (free) - that'll get the job the done.

(Windows XP normally comes with version of said software which was , version 2 is )
