Anyone upgrading recently? If so I would be interested in your old machine. Unfortunately mine cannot handle anything above fs1998 and a new machine is beyond my price range at present.

I agree with Charlie, upgrading your existing system may not cost much at all. Unless your computer is from Dell, HP etc. you can usually keep most of the parts and just buy a new processor, motherboard and RAM pretty cheap. Maybe a video card too. I know I could get the above for less than $500CAD and it would handle FS2002 pretty well.
Dell and friends like to pull fun ideas like making their own custom power supply and case designs that make upgrading difficult.

zero-lash valve lifter,
If you would list the specs of your current machine, we could offer pointers and options.
Take Care,
Richard
P.S. It is amazing what a fresh install of the OS can do to speed up an old computer.
