Getting sound from laptop to stereo?
I have a Toshiba Satellite 2410 laptop. (P4 1.7, WinXP)
It has a video out plug (standard yellow plug), USB, Network plug, headphone jack.
I want to connect the laptop to a standard stereo system which has the normal red/white stereo inputs.
Is it possible to connect the two via either the video out or the headphone out?
Probably not but it would be life saver to use the hundreds of WMAs I have at wifes birthday party rather than keep loading CDs.
Hope someone can help.

Hi Mr Woollie,
A trip to your local Hi-Fi shop will sort you out. What you are looking for is a Male stereo plug with two wires hanging off it, one with a red jack, and one with a white.

Scroll down to the KL400/1/2, to see a picture, as I can't work out how to post them..
As you can see they start at a couple of quid, so it won't bankrupt you.
Cheers
