I would like to install a video link with my son in Montreal, but I cannot find help I can understand. Any pointers? We both have XP.

1. get a pair of webcams from Logitech (one for each of you) and install on PCs

2. Sign-up to a passport at Microsoft.net

3. Start Windows Messenger and follow instructions (or download from Microsoft ) [This link also has useful info on how to achieve your aim].

MSN messenger is so good for this type of thing - when you are having a chat with someone it practically opens up a complete link between the two people i.e. you can share video, files, music - you can even access one anothers computer remotely if you ever need any techie help - its cool and I love it !
