No problem here either.
I tried it with Mozilla and IE. Works fine with both. I have found that some sites have problems with some browsers, but not PPJN.com

If you are running any spyware/adware, anti virus, firewall etc then turn them all off and try again - if it works then one of them is blocking the site. Also turn off any search bars you may have installed on your web browser too.

Have you tried disconnecting from the web and then reconnecting?

Also - sometimes this happens in IE where you cant type in a link in the address bar (beats me why) so go to google.com - type in the URL and then click the result which should be the direct link to the site - that way you are linking to it and not using the address bar to type it in.

Cheers

PPJN access

Hi guys,

Wasn't aware there was a problem.

Traffic has dipped a bit over the last few weeks but only by about 5%. Is this error message from your internet provider or from 0catch.com (our web host)?

How about if you click on these links rather than putting typing them in your browser?

How stupid am I ?!!! I should have just typed the links for you like the ones above - rather than having you trundle over to Google - sorry about that mate - was having a blonde moment

Still getting nothing ... either with IE or Mozilla, firewall on or off.

It connects to the site and gets to the "waiting for ppjn.com" stage, sits for a couple of minutes and then gives me the "The document contains no data" window.

Every other website is working as per normal, so I'm pretty sure it's not a problem at my end.

aaarrrggghhhh ... must ... have ... ppjn ... NOW

sorry luke, not sure what else to suggest.

I can tell you there's no clever flash/java on the site. Just straight forward html text so i can't think what's wrong.

Whenever my computer starts doing strange things I just format the hard drive and start again. I'm no expert but it always does the job

I have just downloaded Spybot (my second spyware remover on this pc) and it said when i opened it up that if spybot deletes spyware robots from your computer that you may not be able to view the robots' parent site.

Do you guys think that this may be the reason why we cant view PPJN? i.e we have deleted a spyware robot which PPJN uses?

Thanks in advance

Dave

Its been weeks now and i still can't even load up the front page!
I can't see it being anything at my end because i havent changed any of the settings.
I have run TZ spyware remover and ad aware to clean my cookies etc. Also i have tried a virus scan and checked my security settings and its all fine.

Im stumped if i know what's wrong!

I had it going for a couple of days there since my last post, but now it's gone again, for no apparent reason. Along with another forum I frequent.

I got my mate to check when he was round here the other day with his flash laptop, and he can definitely load the page at his house but not at mine when he's using my connection.

My guess is that something dodgy has happened to one of the big DNS servers that these ISP providers all use

PPJN Access

Hi,

Sorry to hear you guys are still having trouble.

I've read some of the posts about spyware robots - i'm not sure what they are but we haven't put any on the ppjn site. The host has software which counts hits and unique visitors but i assume that is something different? Like i've said before the website is just made up of standard html text, theres no clever software or programming that we use.

Can the people having trouble try accessing these websites - they all use the same host (www.0catch.com ) as us:

http://galanodel.batcave.net/
http://peggylprice-photogallery.com/
http://www.shattered-rage.envy.nu/

I like the one with sailing boats on though the other two are a bit weird. Anyway if you could let us know how you get on that would be cool.

Frankly i haven't got a clue what's going on. I've paid the the host till the end of September so i'd rather not change providers just yet

Let us know how you get on,

MrSurrey
