e-mail recommendations

I have finally had enough. Enough of receiving over 100 cr*p e-mails per day. I also suspect that my e-mail address has been hijacked and appears alongside filthy offers. My appendage is big enough and I am not old enough to need viagra or free prescriptions.

I am also tired of providers trying to force me into using web-based mail service.

All I want is an e-mail address that I can use via OE. Is it too much to ask?

Can anyone recommend a suitable provider? Pleeeeeeze?

Gone to append sticking plasters to scalp where hair torn out....

I like easyspace - definitely a no-hassle company.

Would promote my own web-hosting co. of course, but it's against the rules...

You should look at FuseMail. They are based in the US, but the prices are pretty cheap, starting at $5 US for 3 months. You an also use the account to check other email accounts you may have, and it works through Outlook Express.

I use oneandone. Costs £1.99 annually to register a domain name such as bloggs.me.uk and domain mail plus service is £6.99 per year and this gives you 3 POP e-mail accounts and much more. You can change the e-mail addresses (e.g. [email protected]) in 24 hours if they start getting spammed.

You can set up additional e-mail addresses to forward to your main e-mail address so you can have a public address that you use on the WWW and a private one that you give to friends/family.

E-mail me for more details.

FJJP,

Get your own domain name and web hosting. That will give you the best options. You get your own Mail Server hosted for you and you have much better tools for controlling spam.

Take Care,

Richard
