Smile Spyware

Hobo

It sounds very much like you have some spyware on your computer. Have a look at the 'Sticky' at the top of this forum titled 'Guide for Eliminating Spyware, Adware, and Random Popups' for information on the best way to get rid of it.

Hope this helps.

Do not skip the part about other browsers in that thread.
both Opera and Mozilla are more resilient to malware generally speaking, and offer a much better privacy control (cookies, popups) that M$'s IE

Hobo,

I agree with Phoenix09. You have some sort of Malware in your computer.

Take Care,

Hi Hobo,

If you want, you can PM me with the results of the following..

Please download 'Hijack This!' from here, unzip, and place it in it’s own folder, (not in the temp folder) doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan". When the scan is finished, click "Save Log", and copy and paste it in a reply.

This will give me a rundown of what’s going on in your PC. I'll be glad to analyse it for you. Don’t fix anything yourself yet, as a lot of the stuff on that list will be harmless or required.

(It's my standard C/P, hence the possible loss of tense)

But please switch off the smilies before hitting Submit..

Cheers

Liam
