Unsolicited favorites
Clicked on "Favourites" and a whole list of new files appeared! Autos, Games, Shopping etc. deleted them and next time I logged on there they wer again! How to get rid of them for good?? Anybody know where they came from and what can be done about it???

It sounds very much like you have some spyware on your computer. Have a look at the 'Sticky' at the top of this forum titled 'Guide for Eliminating Spyware, Adware, and Random Popups' for information on the best way to get rid of it.

Hi Hobo,
If you want, you can PM me with the results of the following..
Please download 'Hijack This!' from here, unzip, and place it in it’s own folder, (not in the temp folder) doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan". When the scan is finished, click "Save Log", and copy and paste it in a reply.
This will give me a rundown of what’s going on in your PC. I'll be glad to analyse it for you. Don’t fix anything yourself yet, as a lot of the stuff on that list will be harmless or required.
(It's my standard C/P, hence the possible loss of tense)
But please switch off the smilies before hitting Submit..
