try diskeeper lite. Seems to work like the defrag in xp.

If MyDoom damaged one of your System Files, what other System Files did it damage/corrupt?

You are better off backing up your Data and doing either a Repair or a Fresh Install of your OS.

That is the only guaranteed way to make sure your PC is running 100% again.
