Mind Maps
Waaaay off-topic, but you're a knowledgeable lot
I'm looking to buy some software for constructing Mind Maps. I've tried Mindjet's MindManager Pro and it's very good - but not cheap. Before I buy a copy, has anybody used a good, cheaper alternative?

Have a look at http://www.mindtools.com/pages/article/newISS_01.htm
They are easy to construct with almost any wordprocessor. They also have the advantage of you creating the mind map amd not a programme.

Can't offer you a cheaper solution, but can offer a for the Mindjet product. It's the only reason I use and PC and not a Mac for work. No Mac version
If you like the software, I'd pay the money.

I use SmartDraw 6.0 for all things diagramatical - not sure if they have mindmaps - you might want to check their website. Very helpful support/sales people there.
