Disappearing Mouse
Am I using the wrong cheese ? 
When I am in one program, and want to alt-tab back to the desktop, the mouse does a runner.
Can anyone please help with the reason as to why, or maybe a possible cure ?

If you have trouble answering that question, you can imagine how much trouble we are having answering yours. Please give us some details on the specific hardware your computer has and which Operating System it is running along with which program you notice the problem on.
