VB Help?

As a distinct newcomer to the art, I am having trouble manipulating variables to allow me to increment/decrement file record numbers by 'click' actions in a random access database. Can anyone point me at a suitable tutorial or two (or book)?

You could try the O'Reilly series of books. I haven't looked at the VB one, but every other one I have looked has been great. You might also try the MSDN (Microsoft Developer's Network) section of Microsoft's website. Microsoft has a pretty detailed section for their developer resources and I think they have some tutorials.
