Problems sending email via a GPRS connection on Pocket PC 2003
Hope someone can help here. I have an HP iPaq model h5550 which runs Pocket PC 2003. I have a nokia 6310i connected to vodafone and GPRS is activated on their network. I have set up the Ipaq to connect via GPRS (using a bluetooth link to the phone).
Connecting to the internet is no problem, I can access sites quite comfortably. However, sending email is a problem. Whenever I try to send email using the GPRS connection I get an error message saying that the message has not been sent and has been transferred to the Drafts folder because "The following recipients are invalid:" The thing is, I know that the addresses are valid, I have checked them - I have tried several addresses, same result. If the address used is one stored in my contacts list, the process of "sending" the message sometimes seems to result in a rougue comma being inserted at the end of the address (after the "Send" button is tapped) or the ">" at the end of the internet address being deleted.
I also have a normal (non-GPRS) connection setup and the email works fine with this.
This is driving me nuts, does anyone have any ideas what I am doing wrong?
Thanks
Aiglon

It sounds like you're using the SMTP server of a different ISP than the one you're using for the actual GPRS connection. If so, try using the SMTP server of the ISP you are using for the GPRS connection.
