No need to stop device?
This is just a passing thought, please don't anyone give any great thought to it, but...
I have a PCMCIA 3Com Wireless Bluetooth card which I can pop in and out of the PCMCIA slot at will, but it doesn't pop up the usual "Every time you eject hardware without stopping it an innocent puppy dies" message, and it doesn't appear on the eject hardware list.
It does, however, dutifully appear and disappear from the Hardware Manager list.
So what makes this device different from all other devices?
