W2000 user logon

In W98 it was possible to choose the log-on user from a menu of installed users - I think it required MS Family log-on or similar in the network settings.

Can this be done with W2000 or does the user name need to be cleared each time and retyped?

Sometimes I have trouble with 'adminastrator' (once i could not spell 'pilut' - now i are one )

You can play around with the registry and make it do it or you can use the handy little app linked below.

I think most W2K users are in 'working' environments hence the reason for the forced logon.

Autologon

Thanks, FSD - I had hoped there was some way to 'select' rather than type a username in as in W98. I am playing with autologon!
