Dear Chaps,
I have a friend whom I email, but my email ALWAYS ends up in her DELETE folder ............. despite her best efforts to stop this annoyance.
I am not in the "Block Senders List" she says.......... so what else can be the culprit please ?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers
TG

Hello Richard,
Many thanks for the advice......... she shall try that once again.
In my defence ref the "hint" (ha ha) I know what you mean but she says this........
Quote
you are always on the nail and it is like a breath of fresh air opening up your missives! (Even though they are STILL going straight to my Delete section despite everything I have tried - you and Ryan air by the way - any connections?!)........

Name and address supplied as they say.............. and no, I have no connection with Ryan Air !
We shall continue to delve into the problem.
Cheers

Hi TG
I can't speak for all email accounts, but is she on Hotmail by any chance? I know you have discounted the 'Block Sender' possibility, but there is also the various levels of filters to consider. On Hotmail it reads something like this;
"Choose your Junk Mail Filter level:
Default (obvious junk mail is caught)
Enhanced (most junk mail is caught)
Exclusive (you will only receive e-mail from addresses appearing in your Contacts or safe list, service announcements from Hotmail, and e-mail that you have consented to receive from MSN)
Note: At Enhanced and Exclusive levels, wanted messages are occasionally identified as junk mail. Check your Junk Mail folder regularly to make sure wanted e-mail has not been moved there.
Choose what to do with your junk mail:
Delete junk mail immediately
Junk mail messages are deleted without ever being delivered to your Junk Mail folder.
Deliver to Junk Mail folder and delete later
Junk mail messages are delivered to your Junk Mail folder so that you can review them. Note: MSN empties the Junk Mail folder regularly to keep the folder size small".
It could be that if she has something like this, she may have it set to 'Exlcusive', combined with possibly immediate deletion of junk mail?. I would have assumed you would already be in her list of Contacts, but hey, what do I know?
bug
