Mac vs PC
I think it is time we settle the Mac vs PC debate that always rages on PPRuNe. Here is some help on doing just that:
http://jeremy.zawodny.com/media/bitch.mpg
(It does contain some language so don't allow the little ones around.
It is also 47MB in size so it takes a while to load.)
And

Take Care,
Richard

Very enjoyable bit of satire Richard,
I am however a little worried about the skillset of Mr 47mb. Great comedic actor but should he consider a change from being an editor?
The Coen Brother's 'Intolerable Cruelty' seems to be doing quite nicely at the box office and was entirely edited on a Mac using standard consumer software.
Full story at: http://www.apple.com/pro/film/coen/
Rather than 47 mb they seem to have managed a 370 gig edit without cracking up and hurling the machines out of the window. Looking forward to your list of Oscar winning writer/directors with theatrical releases generated on a standard, shop bought PC

Joel and Ethan Coen have always written, directed, edited and produced their own films. But “Intolerable Cruelty” is the first film they edited digitally — and they used the Mac and Final Cut Pro to do it. “Intolerable Cruelty” stars George Clooney as a wacky but ruthless Beverly Hills divorce attorney who falls for Catherine Zeta-Jones, the gold-digging wife of one of his clients.
