IE6 status bar

Does anyone know a way to stop new IE windows (Ctrl+n) from appearing without the status bar? Most annoying. Also, when opening links in new windows, is there any way to make the new window start maximised?

Cheers in advance!

View > Status Bar (click to deselect/reselect).

Not sure about the second bit.

Dr. Hibbert,

The trick to the status bar is:

Go to Windows Explorer and in there click View >> Status Bar and make sure you have a checkmark in the window.

Then go to Tools >> Folder Options >> View >> click on Apply to All Folders

That will make the Status Bar display in Windows Explorer as well as Internet Explorer and Control Panel each time you open them.

Take Care,

Richard
