Restrictions. This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator.
So, any clues to whats going on??

BRL,
You need to go into:
Control Panel >> User Accounts
and change the user type. It might take being setup as an Administrator or Power User for that User Account.
Take Care,
Richard

Thank you for the reply Richard. I done as you say and I am the computer administrator already as opposed to a limited user(Guest).
There is a guest account but that is turned off at the moment.

**Edit** Cross posted with TCS. Cheers for that. I just done it that way and done my little task. I still cannot get to it as I stated in my first post....

If you have Spybot installed, go to the "Immunize" page and scroll to the bottom (most people don't and never even know theu're there) and you'll find three tick boxes. Make sure the third one, "Lock IE control panel against opening from within IE (current user)" is not ticked.
If that and the other suggestions above, don't work, Try here: Restrictions Error Message. Not sure about the providence of this, but perhaps worth a try.
