Chilean Pilots in USA ?
Is there much interest among Chilean pilots about some US airlines recruiting them on H1B1 visas ? I've not seen anything much said about how many pilots would be interested in using this visa to work for Allegiant or Spirit.

So, a week since I started this thread but no replies. Can I assume no Chilean pilots view pprune ? Or there is full and satisfactory pilot employment in Chile and hence no one looking to be an expat ( and NO...I'm not claiming the USA is the be-all-end-all of aviation)?
Actually, I hope that the last is the case.
I know nothing about aviation in Chile. But I found a website claiming there are 10 pilot training organizations in Chile so there's certainly aviation going on there.
What say ye ?
