So, the only jet time you can count toward your PIC is 737, 320 E190, etc, right? I guess I can't count all the gulfstream, lear and challenger PIC time I have.

Hello. I could be wrong, but the way I read it is: experience as a captain OR 4000 hours as an FO on a Jet AND the specific planes listed.

I think PIC time in corporate jets would count.

Pretty nice minimums for an Airbus PIC position. What's the pay like?

rcl,

You are right. PIC time or 4000 SIC. When I read it earlier, I was high on pain meds since I threw my back out 2 days ago.
Thanks.

Y.

Experience as Captain or at least 4000 hours of flight as first officer in Jet ......

They mean in the listed jets...

Thanks for the link, I have applied almost a week ago and I haven't received any call...

I have Argentine and Spanish passports and Peruvian unlimited residency (carnet de extranjeria Peruano por tiempo indefinido).
FAA's ATPL, Peruvian CPL ME IR, Argentine's ATPL and JAR CPL IR ME Frozen ATPL.

My grand total is more than 7.600 hrs, 3.200 hrs DC10 SIC and 2.300 hrs B744 SIC.

Maybe there are too many A320 rated guys coming from Air Commet, Vueling, so my numbers are not good enough.

Your monthly figures are correct but your math is incorrect unles you are working with NET figures. But even then you haven't considered they deduct 10% for your pension, not just the 30% which goes to the taxman.

We get 12 monthly salaries + 1 month in Jan + 1 month in July + 1 month in Dec + 1 CTS = 16 salaries per year.

Therefore:

21,976
x 16
-------
351,616
/ 2.9 (actual exchange rate 2.85 by the way but I will work with your figures)
-------
121,246 USD BEFORE TAX, GROSS, BRUTO, etc

Saludos,

OW

LPE should have a lot of applicants...I had applied through the CAE website more than a month ago and I have not received nothing more than the automatic aknowledge of the application.

I have a friend who has passed the interviews/exams for LAN Chile (FO).
After more than a month from the welcome drink he is still waiting for the starting date and more important the Terms & Conditions.
Not a single clue about salary/housing/etc.
