Job reductions at TACA

An article in today's La Prensa (Nicaragua) announces that Grupo TACA is cutting 70 cabin crew based in Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua (no cut backs in El Salvador or Costa Rica) from it's payroll of 5550 employees.

Does anybody know what percentage of staff this represents from these bases, as the airline's cabin crew bases in these countries was small; practically a token amount?

Well P.J , let me tell you that as far as i know , where all the CC from TGU and MGA, 26 in GUA . And not only that but they started cutting pilots already, and not the junior ones but very senior Capts. now it depends how loyal you are to the Company. e.g u have attended an interview for EK , EY ,QR ,AA etc . expect that they are gonna cut your head.
Rumour has it that after the elections in SAL this weekend is gonna get worst.

Thanks god the day i left that place...
